On August 27, Zygmunt Zygmuntovich, Marat and Edward Sabirov were arrested in absentia, and materials on them were sent to Interpol.

At the beginning of September, Moscow made a decision to transfer the Kazan case to the Investigation Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. According to Realnoe Vremya's sources, Moscow investigators have not yet traveled to Kazan, but the investigative group created in the capital included employees of the Main Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tatarstan - the same ones who began the promotion of this case.

At the same time, according to the current version of the indictment, Doronin and Co. are charged with acting as part of an organized group through deception and abuse of trust with damage to at least 80 victims totaling at least 250 million rubles. According to investigators, the defendants, on behalf of Finiko, disseminated false information through unidentified partners of the Finiko project about highly profitable financial activities, attracted funds from citizens and stole them.
