Three more accused are on the run. Investigators established that they left the country on July 6, going first to Belarus, and from there to the United Arab Emirates. On August 27, Zygmunt Zygmuntovich, Marat and Edward Sabirov were arrested in absentia, and materials on them were sent to Interpol.

At the beginning of September, Moscow made a decision to transfer the Kazan case to the Investigation Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. According to Realnoe Vremya's sources, Moscow investigators have not yet traveled to Kazan, but the investigative group created in the capital included employees of the Main Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tatarstan - the same ones who began the promotion of this case.

In particular, the petition to extend Doronin’s arrest in the Vakhitovsky court was supported by the deputy head of the investigative department of the Main Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tatarstan, Dinar Khamidullin.
