“How to combine different types of flooring?”
“What is a cork expansion joint and what is its purpose?”, “How to install a cork expansion joint?” - questions asked more than once by consumers during the construction of private houses or renovation of an apartment with their own hands. When renovating apartments and building houses, great attention is paid to floor coverings.
When you come to visit, the first thing you notice is the floors. They are the ones who create the first impression about the people living in the apartment, their well-being, neatness, and hard work.
Forms of joints between laminate and tiles
The connection of floor coverings can vary in configuration and length. Depending on its shape, there are three main types of joints.
Straight line
The easiest joint to arrange. It can be issued as a threshold or done without it. If the seam is located in the space under the interior door, a threshold is considered mandatory.

Curved joint
Not an easy option to make. The main difficulty lies in precise cutting of the material, which requires a professional tool. The seam can be made without a threshold or with it, but if mistakes were made during the work or defects appeared when cutting materials, only a threshold can disguise them.
broken line
An effective connection that involves laying uncut tiles end-to-end with laminate flooring. The main problem is the exact fit of the parts. The threshold in this case is extremely undesirable, since it greatly spoils the appearance of the floor.
A panel of ordinary wallpaper
Oddly enough, instead of a plinth, you can also use a strip cut from wallpaper. Its width is about 20–25 cm. The main requirement in this case is that the panel should be noticeably different from the main finish. It may contain contrasting patterns and complex patterns. When laying panels, you can also visually raise the ceiling.
In addition, instead of such a product, you can use ordinary paint. It is simply used to draw a line along the perimeter of the walls close to the ceiling. The effect is similar. Only in this case the strip will be the same shade and without patterns. In general, this framing option is great for large rooms or those rooms in which the ceilings are initially too low.
Liquid plug - what is it?
The building material, which is called liquid facade cork, results in a durable coating. Manufacturers claim 10-15 years. They rarely talk about 30 years. In fact, you can say about the cork that it will last much longer. The limitation is that acrylic only lasts 10-15 years.
The product composition includes cork bark with a fraction of 0.5 to 1 mm (more than 90%), acrylic and various polymers. Manufacturers keep the specific recipe secret. This allows you to protect the market from low-quality counterfeits.
The main characteristics of the liquid coating are:
- Decorative character. Externally, the surface looks like a fur coat with a slight grain.
- High adhesion to almost all materials without the need for careful preparation of the base.
- Elasticity. Liquid cork retains its original shape as the structure shrinks. Seasonal changes in temperature and humidity do not have a destructive effect.
- Vapor permeability. This indicator is ensured by the peculiarity of the cork itself. Thanks to this, the base can “breathe” and get rid of the liquid contained inside.
- Moisture resistance. The dried solution can let steam out, but water cannot get inside.
Packaging option
As for equipment, it can be divided into three groups:
- The household kit includes a compressor and a gun for filling deep cracks with putty.
- Professionals prefer to purchase a special universal installation, which is relevant when processing the facades of small buildings.
- The industrial model (MP-120) allows you to cover large areas of walls and roofing parts of buildings.
If self-application is envisaged, then it makes sense to purchase a compressor if the area is relatively large. They often give preference to hiring a construction team, because their work can be cheaper in cost than buying tools.
Application for construction projects
All reinforced concrete structures and SIP panels have one drawback - under the influence of seasonal changes in temperature and humidity, they are subject to linear fluctuations. Not every sealant is suitable for sealing joints in reinforced concrete structures, since the compounds break down quickly enough and do not have suitable elasticity.
Using polyurethane foam as a sealing agent does not give a positive result, since the foam cracks over time, turns yellow, and after a few years loses its characteristics. Cork sealing compounds are an excellent replacement for polyurethane foam and any specialized mastics. This product is suitable for filling all types of seams, including locking ones, effectively eliminates cold bridges, seals seams and areas adjacent to frame objects. Thanks to these compounds, you can seal joints and seams at home with your own hands; this possibility is relevant for any panel structures.
Advantages and disadvantages of cork joints between tiles and laminate
At first glance, the decision is ambiguous. Cork grout between tiles and laminate does not provide any special advantages, and the plastic consistency only complicates the work with the sealant.
Unobvious advantages of liquid plug
If the new material were worse than the sealant, then its production would not exceed the volume of cork tapes previously used to seal joints on laminate flooring.
The main advantages of the material:
- Fully similar to natural cork, the sealed joint looks just as beautiful as when using a tape gasket;
- After laying the material in the joint between the seal and the edge of the laminate, there are no gaps where dust and dirt could accumulate;
- Soft texture and high plasticity. The sealant and natural cork turn out to be too hard and not very flexible to compensate for the expansion of the lamella by more than 0.5-1.0 mm.
For small rooms, silicone is still enough, but if the room has one of the dimensions of more than 5 m, the expansion of the material reaches 2.5-4 mm, which is clearly beyond the capabilities of the silicone mass.
Cork has high vapor permeability
Important! After hardening, liquid cork takes on the appearance of natural wood, and its characteristics resemble very soft spongy rubber. Disadvantages of cork silicone
Disadvantages of cork silicone
The new material also has enough negative qualities:
- The width of the joint between the edge of the lamella and the tile cannot be less than 5-6 mm, the maximum size is 15 mm. It is very difficult to press a liquid plug into a narrower gap; at a wide joint, the material loses its decorative qualities;
- The process of filling the seam with cork between the laminate panel and the tile turns out to be very long and quite labor-intensive.
Large chips of cork with silicone “fit” into the joint very poorly; you have to put in considerable effort and waste time to press the “inconvenient” mass into the narrow gap. In addition, the mixture adheres well to the laminated surface.
Technology for filling joints between laminate and tiles using liquid cork
To complete the work, you need to prepare a stationery knife, oil and a tube filled with the mixture. The sharp corners of the tile are ground off, and then both coatings are wiped with oil using cotton pads or swabs. The mixture in liquid form is placed in a prepared tube, and then it is gradually squeezed into the joints between the board and the tile. Liquid cork is applied with a reserve, since it shrinks, but so that the material does not fall on the surface, it is very difficult to clean it off. If the surface of both materials is located at the same level, then the joining can be done without any special complications. With different heights of surfaces, they focus on the material that is located above, and level the cork covering over it.
After the liquid cork has hardened, the excess areas must be cut off using a utility knife; this work is done carefully so as not to damage the floor surface. This is usually done after a day, and the defects are removed immediately, before the glue dries. If the floors are oiled, this is easy to do. Then grinding and scraping are done, but the last stage will not be easy to complete. Liquid stopper is not used to protect the edges of the material, otherwise it will be firmly fixed to the base and it will be impossible to detach it. The mixture cannot be applied or leveled above the required level, as it will not fit tightly and cracks may appear. In order to perform grinding and eliminate excess, the material should not gain full strength, that is, this work is performed 24 hours after application. Thanks to the application of liquid cork into the joint between the laminate and the tile, an almost flat surface is obtained, without the use of thresholds. In the kitchen, some areas are laid with tiles, for example, near the stove, sink, washing machine, since this material is easy to clean and resistant to humidity. And the laminate is laid on the remaining surface, all connecting seams between the material are filled with liquid cork.
Laminate is not so resistant to moisture that it should be installed in damp rooms; it can become deformed and lose its original appearance. For this reason, in the bathroom the surface is made more practical, that is, tiles are laid, while in other rooms you can use laminate. Since it is not advisable to lay tiles in ordinary rooms, they are a cold coating. Thanks to this separation, a gap appears between rooms and materials, which is closed in various ways, one of them is the use of liquid cork, it is a practical and durable material.
Common Mistakes
Beginners in the field of repair and finishing work quite often make some mistakes when applying liquid cork. One of the most common mistakes is not thoroughly cleaning the surface first and ignoring degreasing of the material. As a result, the adhesion rate of the sealing agent to surfaces is significantly reduced.
Another mistake is untimely removal of excess substance. It is necessary to remove sealant that gets on nearby surfaces immediately, and not leave this work for later. Once the composition dries, it is quite difficult to clean it; in addition, removing dried sealant can damage both the finished seam and the surfaces located nearby.
It is a mistake to think that the applied composition needs to be leveled along the base located above, and not on what is located a level below. If you level the product at a high level, the seam will look unsightly and the product will not fit tightly. Another mistake is to use liquid cork to secure carpeting and to seal joints between carpet and other surfaces.
Using cork sealants strictly according to the instructions, and applying the product only to those materials that are approved by the manufacturer, you will definitely be able to properly seal any seams and joints.
Installation features
There are strict requirements for the transition between laminate and tile. Strict adherence to installation technology and careful execution will help achieve a positive result. The main requirement for joining surfaces is the absence of flaws on the edges of the tiles and laminate.
In addition to tiles, laminate and expansion joint, you need to purchase wood glue and sealant, which will be needed to hide minor bending defects at the joint. The color of the veneered end of the compensator is selected in accordance with the overall color scheme of the floor covering.
Installation of a solid cork expansion joint is carried out when one type of coating has already been laid. First of all, you need to trim the height of the cork tape. This should be done using a sharp knife, having first outlined the cut location on the strip. It is better to glue the compensator with wood glue, having previously cleaned and degreased the installation site. The compensator installation algorithm is as follows:
- thorough preparation of the joint by clearing mechanical debris, removing dust and priming;
- applying a thin strip of glue near the edge of the lamellas;
- laying the compensator tape on the applied glue and fixing the end edge;
- applying sealant between the edges of the laminate and the expansion joint;
- removing excess sealant using a wet cloth and then wiping the joint dry.
Further installation of the tiles is carried out from the formed joint. This will ensure a tighter fit between the cork and the ceramic. After installation is completed and the sealant and glue have completely dried, the cork seam, which does not have a veneered end edge, is sanded and varnished.
Installation of a liquid cork expansion joint should begin by applying masking tape to all edges of already laid surfaces. The joint is cleaned of mechanical debris and dusted. Work should be carried out at an air temperature of at least 5 degrees. Installation of a liquid cork compensator consists of the following steps:
- pour the composition from the tube into a wide container;
- fill the seam with a spatula or an air gun;
- cut off excess sealant with a spatula;
- wait for the surface to completely dry, which depends on the thickness of the connector, the width of the seam and the temperature and is 24-48 hours;
- remove the masking tape and wipe off any remaining sealant from the floor.
A cork expansion joint between the tiles and the laminate will allow you to achieve a perfect connection between the two surfaces and make the floor impressive and neat.
The entire process of installing a cork expansion joint can be seen in the following video.
Features and Benefits
If you decide to close the passage without a threshold, you will encounter a problem - the movement of two facing materials. This is especially true for laminate. This is why most people opt for thresholds with gaps and seats for joints.
Modern manufacturers offer a large selection of profiles that differ in material, price and properties. Among sillless technologies, the best choice is the cork expansion joint. It is distinguished by its affordable cost, ease of installation and high quality.
Cork expansion joints are widely used to design the joint between laminate flooring and other materials, for example, floor tiles. The device is a strip of cork that is attached to the joint. After this, it is sanded along with the parquet and coated with a protective varnish. Dirt and dust accumulate in large quantities on unprotected cork material. Also, over time, it often begins to deteriorate and crumble. Therefore, experts recommend not to ignore the moment of varnishing.
Compensators are available in different colors on the market. This allows you to choose the best option that will fit perfectly into the interior of a particular room or other premises.
The compensator is produced in the form of sheets. The buyer independently cuts the strip to the desired width. To do this, you just need a ruler, a pencil and a sharp knife.
Unlike rubber parts and silicone, the expansion joint is guaranteed not to harden over the entire period of operation. Another distinctive characteristic of such a connector is its elasticity. Since the laminated board compresses and expands during use, the expansion joint must also be elastic.
An undeniable advantage of using cork between tiles and laminate is the ability to easily give it any shade using tinting. An important point is also the environmental friendliness of the material. Thanks to this, cork can be safely used in residential premises.
Installing a cork expansion joint yourself is not difficult at all. If you choose the right dimensions, installation will take a minimum of time. With the same ease, even a beginner can dismantle the part without putting a lot of effort into the work.
The compensator parameters can be different:
- standard length is 900 mm, the maximum length of custom-made products is 3000 mm;
- width – 7 mm and 10 mm;
- minimum height – 15 mm, maximum – 22 mm.
Material having a standard length is appropriate to use if the joint is located under the door. In this case, this size will be quite sufficient. In other situations, you will either have to connect several compensators together, or make an individual order.
Advantages
An example of an installed expansion joint between different materials
Cork expansion joints for parquet, shown in the photo, have the following advantages:
- Naturalness - only natural materials are used in the production of this part;
- Environmental friendliness - after dismantling they are easily disposed of;
- Safety - the softness of the material minimizes the possibility of injury during installation. Natural materials do not contain toxic substances or allergens;
- Ease of installation – a compensator with correctly selected dimensions is easy to install and dismantle;
- Versatility - suitable for laying parquet; cork expansion joints are used for laminate flooring, which also has the ability to expand with increasing humidity. In addition, these parts are used to make a joint with a cork expansion joint.
- The compensator is made from natural cork tree bark. Some models have thin wooden plates on both sides.
How can you connect the transition?
To neatly design the gap between functional areas, four materials are most often used.
Grout
An easy way to seal winding, shallow seams. Such thresholds are difficult to find, and other fillers will not look so organic. Often in modern interiors there is an interesting way of finishing the floor: polygonal ceramic parts “incline” a little into an area with a different coating. This separates the hallway area from the rest of the house and the kitchen area from the living room. In this case, the transition is also carried out using grout. Do it in the following order:
- Carry out preparatory work.
- Treat the edges of the second material with silicone compound.
- Fill the resulting seam halfway with it.
- Wait for it to dry.
- Dilute the grout, spread it on top and level it with a spatula.
- Wipe the finished dried layer with a damp cloth and cover it with clear varnish to extend its service life.

Silicone and acrylic sealant
Joining two sections with elastic sealant is even easier than with grout. The advantage of the method is that there is no need to additionally treat the boards to protect them from moisture. But there is one point - you need to take into account that after drying the filler will turn light brown. The acrylic filler can be painted in a suitable shade after it has dried. Both expansion joints are suitable for renovation work in new buildings, as they are able to adapt to the shrinkage of the building.
Sequence of work:
- Place masking tape on both sides of the seam so you don’t have to waste time scrubbing it off later.
- Make a hole in the silicone paste tube so that it can be squeezed out, or insert it into a special gun.
- Fill the gap so that the sealant extends slightly above the floor surface.
- Use a spatula to remove excess mixture. If you don’t have a spatula, you can wait until the mixture dries and cut off the excess.
Keep in mind that it takes one or two days for the sealant to dry completely. Silicone expansion joints are recommended for use in rooms where the flooring is secured with glue or fasteners.

Liquid plug
Liquid cork for laminate and tile joints is a moisture-resistant mixture of an adhesive base and cork chips. It has an unusual texture and looks good in seams no larger than 7 mm. On wide crossings it will look alien. This is a simple connection method for areas of any shape.
The hole that is filled with the mass is first cleaned of dust and degreased.
Rules for working with the mixture:
- The coating levels must match. If there is a slight difference, the glue is aligned along the higher edge.
- Do not let the cork get on the floor, as it is difficult to wipe off and, once dry, almost impossible. You can pre-coat the floor with oil or apply masking tape to it.
- The material must be sanded a day after pouring, until it hardens.
The layer turns out to be very durable and it is almost impossible to remove it.

Cork compensator
One of the most popular ways to design boundaries between two floor coverings. The filler is a soft, pressed lath or whole sheets with the same characteristics. The compensator has several advantages:
- Possibility to choose the appropriate color.
- Ability to withstand building shrinkage and dimensional fluctuations of laminated strips.
- Suitable for wide seams.
- Looks beautiful in the interior.
For this material it is also desirable that both areas are at the same level. Otherwise, the result will not look aesthetically pleasing.
Sequence of working with the filler:
- Adjust the rail to the desired size or cut the part from the sheet.
- Apply adhesive to the entire width of the laminate or tile, and a thin layer of sealant to the bottom.
- Glue the compensator and cover it on top with an antiseptic and clear varnish.
- The rail can be tinted, but you need to take into account that it absorbs paint well and the color turns out saturated.

Description of cork sealants
These sealing products are based on fine cork chips, which constitute about 90-95 percent of the total volume. In addition, the substance contains specialized polymer substances, water, fillers and binders that make cork sealants of the required thickness and texture. Depending on the quality of the cork, the quality of the sealing composition will be worse or better. The best raw materials are obtained from oak bark, a type of cork tree. Sealants based on such oak bark have a significantly higher cost than substitutes made from any other type of wood.
When cork sealants cure, they acquire the following characteristics:
- small mass;
- excellent elasticity and sufficient resilience;
- low heat conductivity;
- environmental cleanliness and safety;
- resistance to chemicals and physical and mechanical influences.
Depending on the type of binders present in the sealant, it will have certain characteristics. Typically, polyacrylate glue is used as binding components, which is a water-soluble mixture that does not release harmful or toxic substances during hardening. Polyacrylates increase the adhesion (adhesion) rate of cork sealant with various types of materials, such as, for example, tiles, laminate, parquet and others. Polyacrylates combine well with cork coatings and eliminate certain disadvantages of these seams and surfaces, for example, poor resistance to ultraviolet rays, acidic environments, and low hygroscopicity.
Application for thermal protection
When insulating houses and other structures, sealing seams is a mandatory procedure. Creating thermal insulation of joints, seams and various surfaces protects against the occurrence of cold bridges, which could penetrate through hidden places and areas. Thanks to the reliable and strong adhesion of the cork sealant to the base, a monolithic, durable joint is formed.
The sealing agents have optimal fluidity and plasticity, due to which they penetrate even the smallest cracks, joints and defects, are very easy to apply and are simply smoothed out with a regular spatula. When the composition is used to seal joints of laminate or other finishing materials, it perfectly levels out any unevenness and roughness and makes the surface visually attractive. After hardening, the product can be tinted or painted.
Basic rules for joining different floor coverings
To fill the joint between the laminate and the tiles, it is not necessary to use a threshold; you can do the job in another way, using a liquid plug. When laying coatings, the following rules must be observed:
- An important point is the order in which different types of flooring are laid. First, the tiles should be laid, and the laminate should be adjusted under it.
- When cutting tiles, there should be no chips or cracks, so the work is done carefully.
- When laying the laminate, it is necessary that the cut line be strictly straight.
- At the junction points, the backing under the laminate is cut off, and the boards must be attached to the concrete base using glue.
- After the materials have been properly joined, the connections between them are sealed using a liquid plug.
By following these rules, an even, neat seam is obtained between two different floor coverings. Liquid stopper for a smooth connection between laminate and tiles. Instead of thresholds, liquid cork is used to connect laminate and tiles. The connection between these materials is filled with a product that consists of moisture-resistant glue and fine cork chips.
Joining materials using liquid plug has its advantages
- The seams between tiles and laminate can be either straight or curved.
- Installation of such material does not require additional fixation, that is, self-tapping screws.
- Cork material combined with moisture-resistant glue has a high moisture resistance function.
- Laying such material does not require special experience or special knowledge.
For parquet
During the installation of parquet boards, there is a need to seal the seams between the walls and the parquet. Thanks to the sealing agent, this job can be done very easily and quickly. Liquid cork is elastic, it will contract and expand along with the parquet, and is suitable for sealing cracks of any size.
And if defects such as chips and cracks appear on old parquet boards, then cork can be used to repair these damages. In addition, the sealant is used to eliminate the squeaks of this coating.
Installation of a cork compensator
Correct installation is ensured by correctly selected dimensions of the compensator. In specialized construction stores you can easily choose a threshold of any size. Most often, the length of such a product is 900 - 1000 mm. When installing, it is divided into sections of the required length. The width is selected depending on the width of the joint, and the height - on the thickness of the coating. The most common expansion joints have the following dimensions:
- height - 5, 10 mm;
- width - 10, 12, 15, 18, 20 mm;
- length - 900, 920, 960 mm.
Installing a cork expansion joint is quite easy.
Another advantage of this product is its color, which is initially suitable for almost any wooden covering. However, if the threshold is a different color from the parquet board or laminate, this can be easily corrected with a small amount of varnish. The need for painting may arise when installing a compensator on a light-colored floor covering.
When installing floors, many craftsmen make thresholds themselves, cutting cork sheets into the sizes they need. Such sheets are produced specifically for these purposes and, most often, have the following dimensions:
- length - 915mm;
- width - 610 mm;
- thickness - 10 mm.
Many manufacturers produce sheets of different sizes. Most often, only the thickness remains unchanged - for most products it is equal to one centimeter.
Use for soundproofing
Cork sealing products are often used for gluing soundproofing sheets and boards, as well as for sealing seams between these panels. The material significantly reduces the noise level, and when applied to a subfloor, it eliminates the squeaks of wooden boards. The product is used for soundproofing machines, installing certain blocks and components, and also makes it possible to reduce vibration of generators, machine tools, and other electrical equipment.
Purpose
Cork is an original and elastic raw material. Thanks to it, important tasks in the construction field can be solved quite simply, and the products are widely used for the following work:
- providing roof protective covering;
- facade finishing;
- finishing of partitions and ceilings;
- minimizing noise and vibrations;
- thermal insulation;
- anti-corrosion coating of metal structures;
- protection against accumulation of excess moisture;
- sound insulation of carriages, cabins, cars;
- decorative use in the interior;
- protection of low-temperature and high-temperature product pipelines;
- fire protection of various structures;
- insulation of loggias and balconies.
The properties of cork make it possible to use the product for sealing joints between different surfaces and structural materials, for example, between a floor covering and a wall, for finishing joints between tiles and PVC panels, wooden surfaces and laminate. During this work, the seams will be reliably sealed even with large temperature changes, as a result of which deformation of the main composition of the product occurs. This feature is achieved due to the elasticity of the cork.
In addition, this material is successfully used as insulation for door and window openings. Applying liquid cork to the joints of slopes and frames, as well as the seams of the door frame, will eliminate the possibility of drafts in the room.
Liquid cork is a versatile material that finds application as a base material for wall decoration, including indoor and outdoor use.
As a result of its use, a coating is formed that has the following properties and features:
- attractive exterior;
- simple surface application technology;
- water repellency;
- good vapor permeability;
- heat and sound insulation.
The combination of the above properties makes it possible to solve a number of basic problems. First of all, the material eliminates the need to find workers to finish the walls. The processing of the facade or walls in the rooms can be carried out by specialists without serious construction qualifications, which makes it possible to do everything yourself.
In addition, the surface covered with liquid cork looks luxurious and expensive, eliminating the need to purchase expensive finishing materials.
Reliable waterproofing provides high-quality protection from rain moisture, which significantly extends the overall service life of the house. The excellent sound insulation provided by the material solves the problem with street noise, so the maximum proximity to the roadway inside the house will not be felt. Cork perfectly dampens noise and vibration.
Sprayed liquid cork allows water vapor to penetrate through surfaces, which has a beneficial effect on the microclimate inside the house.
When installing high-quality parquet flooring, one of the main points is sealing the joints that appear between the board and the walls. This task is made difficult by the fact that the surfaces have different mechanical properties. Natural wood differs from plaster or tiles in that it can change its geometry due to temperature changes and the effect of moisture on the raw material. Even after a short period of time after installation, parquet may swell or begin to creak due to new formations in the form of gaps. In such cases, it is the liquid coating that will be able to solve such a complex, at first glance, problem.
This is explained by the resilience and elasticity of the cork, which gives the board some freedom. Thanks to this, the material expands, but without compromising the plane of its laying.
The product perfectly fills cracks in parquet due to its elasticity, providing equal pressure on all elements. This is why the formation of gaps is eliminated. At the same time, the material retains excellent strength, which does not limit the possibility of using the coating for its intended purpose. Cork is widely used in parquet repairs as a material for sealing cracks.
Liquid stopper has a variety of applications. Almost anywhere where noise insulation, tightness and thermal insulation are needed, the material will come in handy. Moreover, almost all work with the products can be easily done with your own hands, which will save on paying for hired labor and eliminate the need to purchase expensive materials.
Scope of use
High-quality liquid cork is suitable for sealing any types of joints, seams, and problematic areas found on any floor covering or wall decoration. Cork sealants are excellent for joints between tiles and parquet, laminate, and cork flooring. This material can be used in any place where it is necessary to create a noise-insulating, insulating and sealing layer in the room. Here are the main uses of liquid stopper:
- sealing seams during repair or installation of panel buildings;
- sealing joints and seams between panels in different buildings;
- creation of expansion joints;
- sealing cracks when installing window and door structures;
- creation of sealing contours;
- sealing seams and joints in buildings made of wood and SIP panels;
- formation of gaskets in various mobile objects in order to reduce vibrations;
- creation of high-quality sound insulation of floors between floors and partitions between rooms.
The scope of use of cork sealants for joints and seams is very extensive, since the material can be applied not only to wood, parquet, laminate and cork, but also to PVC, metal, ceramic, glass, and concrete surfaces. These sealing products will not damage even the most delicate materials.
