Unfortunately, the instructions for redevelopment of buildings and structures provide very few opportunities for redevelopment of housing. Therefore, it is quite difficult to carve out a few extra meters. But if you want, almost anything is possible. In addition, if you do not plan to sell the apartment, then obtaining permission from the BTI is not necessary.

A spacious two-room apartment was purchased by our customers in the Solnechnogorsk region. The young family is soon planning to expand their family, but first they decided to furnish their home, for which they contacted us with an order for a design project. After discussing all the wishes, requirements and preferences of the customers, we got to work.
The kitchen design turned out to be quite unusual. To begin with, we got rid of the balcony door, thereby expanding the space of the room and adding light. To make the kitchen sunny and spacious, the designers painted the walls in light colors. Part of the doorway was successfully replaced by the original bar counter, made of wood of the same shade as the door jambs of the dismantled door. The kitchen set is also made of dark wood, all the drawers are trimmed with metal inserts, and the glass elements are decorated with fancy patterns, which gives the kitchen a modern look. The designers chose a table and chairs in light shades, which added a festive feel to the interior and emphasized the unity of style. A huge painting depicting flowers added its own zest; thanks to it, the kitchen seems bright and does not look boring and ordinary.
After discussing all the wishes, requirements and preferences, we got to work. An interesting solution came to us when developing a kitchen design. We decided to get rid of the balcony door, thereby expanding the kitchen space. Part of the doorway was replaced with an elegant wooden bar counter in the same shade as the door frames of the removed door. The kitchen itself is also made of wood, but all the drawers are finished with metal inserts, which gives the kitchen a modern look. The walls are made in white tones, the table is chosen to match the walls, so the kitchen looks very stylish and holistic. A floral painting brings brightness to the interior, so our kitchen does not look boring and ordinary.
The designers also decorated the living room mainly in light colors, in particular the ceiling and walls, but the furniture, carpeting and curtains chose pastel shades, slightly darker than the walls, to make the interior sparkle with colors. The room was enlivened by a beautiful patterned painting on one of the walls, repeated on the glass elements of the kitchen unit. The metal frame of the picture fits perfectly with a coffee table made of light textured glass, as well as with the glossy shine of the cabinets, which corresponds to the unified concept of the design project.
They decided to decorate the bedroom in discreet, calm colors, but at the same time they wanted to make the room interesting, since the customers are planning to soon welcome a child into the family. Therefore, we diluted the neutral pastel colors of the walls, floor and furniture with bright, intricate inserts on one of the walls and the ceiling. Our designers came up with an unusual drawing, counting on the child’s future interest in this composition. Exactly the same pattern decorates the curtains. This adds sophistication and individuality to the interior, and the original ceiling lighting adds its own flavor to the bedroom design.
The place for the crib in the bedroom was determined in advance, so that in the future our customers would not be faced with the problem of choice.
The bathroom follows the style in which the design of the apartment as a whole is made. An elegant solution is the contrast of tiles, alternating white and brown stripes. This solution looks elegant. In addition, in such a small room we managed to successfully place a bathtub.
The hallway looks “rich” thanks to correctly selected colors and furniture. The room is decorated with a beautiful architectural arch, using the capabilities of which new interesting design solutions can be applied: now the women's dressing table is visually separated from the hallway. The built-in wardrobe looks so aesthetically pleasing that at first glance you could confuse it with a wall, if only not for the glass mirror doors. Perfect solution!
When developing this design project for a two-room apartment, our designers took into account all the wishes of the customers, so the clients were completely satisfied with the result and immediately began the renovation! The design project was completed in 1 month.
